If you purchase before August 1, your 30-day rental window begins August 1. If you purchase between August 1 and August 10, your 30-day rental window begins on the day you purchase.
After you press play, you will have 48 hours to finish watching. If you need more time, please email hello@kinema.com, and their team can help.

How do I rent the film?

Click here, or any click any of the order buttons on this page, and you will be directed to Kinema, the platform hosting the film for this event.From there, you can choose the sliding scale amount that works for you. The suggested rental price is $15, and any extra contribution helps keep the film accessible while supporting our mission to share Rescued Hearts with more communities around the world.Next, enter your email and password, and complete your purchase. The email and password you use will create your Kinema account, and you will use that same login to access the film.We also have a limited number of hardship discount codes available. Please email us at info@livewildfilms.com if you need support.

How do I watch after I rent the film?

Accepted Answer

After you make your purchase on Kinema by August 10, you will immediately receive an email with your confirmation and direct link. (If you don't see it, check your promotions or spam).You can also access by your rental by logging into Kinema.com using the same email and password you used at checkout. Then click your initials in the upper right corner and select “Rentals.”
If you purchased before August 1, you will be able to click play starting August 1. If you purchase between August 1 and August 10, you will be able to watch as soon as your purchase is complete. If you need help any logging in, please email Kinema at hello@kinema.com

Can I watch the film more than once?

Yes! Once you press play, you will have 48 hours to watch the film as many times as you’d like. During that 48-hour viewing window, you can pause, return, and watch again. If you need more time, simply email Kinema at hello@kinema.com and they can extend your viewing window an additional 48 hours if needed.

Can I gift the film to someone else?

Yes! The purchase process happens on the same checkout page linked above. Scroll down, and select “Sending as a Gift” to follow the prompts from there.You will need your recipient’s email address, and we recommend letting them know to watch for an email from Kinema.Gifted rentals follow the same timing as regular rentals. If you gift the film before August 1, their 30-day rental window begins August 1. If you gift the film between August 1 and August 10, their 30-day rental window begins on the day the gift is purchased.

Can I watch with a group?

This specific virtual event rental is designed for individual or family viewing. If you do gather with a group of friends, we do simply ask that you select a higher amount on the sliding scale to cover those in your group, or you are welcome to make a donation.And if you’d like to share Rescued Hearts with a larger group, organization, or community for your own event, you can also check out our host a screening page for more information.

What browser should I use to watch the film?

Kinema recommends using the latest version of Google Chrome on a desktop or laptop computer for the most reliable playback experience. Other up-to-date browsers, including Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge, should also work. If you experience any playback issues, we recommend switching to Chrome.
You can also watch on a phone or tablet using the latest version of Safari or Chrome.

Can I watch the film on my TV?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it simply depends on your specific setup. Unfortunately, screen mirroring is not supported and will result in a blank screen due to the privacy settings on Kinema.

HDMI Cable: The best option is to physically plug your laptop into your TV using an HDMI cable and set your TV to the correct input source.Cast it: Depending on your set-up, you may be able to open the film in a Google Chrome browser on your computer or Android phone, and cast it to your TV using a Chromecast or a compatible Smart TV casting system.

Why isn’t the film available all the time?

Rescued Hearts is still in a special phase of release, which means we are sharing it through community screenings and virtual events with a focus on raising awareness worldwide.Offering this limited window allows us to make the film more accessible to our worldwide community while remaining focused on community impact.Your rental also helps support the ongoing work of bringing Rescued Hearts to more communities, theaters, organizations, and healing spaces around the world.
